HOUSING
Personal assessment
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why? Because it is just near from the other students that are on their own in the city and it´s easier to meet new people. Futhermore, if you have a strange Schedule, you can always go home and then again to the university, without time wasting.
Personal comments:
I lived there in three different houses, two of them where given from the host university, I found the third one (when I was independent student). They where really different: the first one was in the town, 30 minutes from the university but in the Town centre, the second one was a five-rooms-appartment in the campus and the third one an individual appartment in the campus. I just can say, I had good luck with my neighbours and didn´t have any problem. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

STUDENT LIFE
Personal social experience
Describe host city: Student life dominates the city
Activities, Nightlife, Travel: Takes place mostly within the university/student environment Personal comments:
As Cafe, I went always to "the collegue" and in the big Warehaus "Forum". There you can find everything. As place to go in the evening (until 1 a.m., I liked the "Ritter Keller". The atmosphere was really good and they had also live concerts. And in the campus it´s always on Tuesday evening the Zugspitzbar party, that was a bar direct in the campus and you meet all the people you knew. But it was just too hot! My academic experiences
Course recommendations:
Well, I couldn´t choose my courses, because I did a Doble Diplom, and I had to course this fix Courses. It depends on what for courses/knowledge you need, what are your interest and which is your language Level.
My opinion of the university assessment
Personal comments:
Just that when the Professors knows that they have erasmus students, they could try to speak "hochdeutsch". Not everybody did it. I had luck, and had good teachers, but I meet people who for that reason could not do a course. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

EXPENSES
The accessibility of student needs
Main source of funding:
Family Other sources of funding:
Personal savings An ERASMUS grant Work opportunities:
I worked during my study abroad experience Personal spending habits:
Telephone rates were really cheap. I travelled a lot, because Kempten is near from lots of places and it´s really cheap to go there. I could make a trip from Mallorca when with that money I did 6 in Kempten!!! Travel: was more expensive than at home. Food, Nightlife, Overall, Housing: was the same price as at home. Telephone: was less expensive than at home.

OVERALL
Important to choosing this university...
I wish I had known...
Not really. That Quema is the same in dialect as Gehen wir!!! ;). In my opinion:
Everybody loved it, you will too!
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
It is in a small city, really small, and you have to organize the parties and activities. If you like wintersports, that´s your place! FINAL COMMENTS
When you come in München you can get a Bayern-Ticket with another 5 people. If you are alone, take a Bayer-Ticket single. It will be cheaper than a normal ticket, and then in Kempten you can get the buses all that day without paying anything else. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
