HOUSING
Personal assessment

KEY:
Couldn't have asked for more.
Pretty good.
Could've been better, but didn't lessen the overall experience.
Disappointing.
Facilities
Location
Cleanliness
Space
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? Because it was a great experience! I was sharing my apartment with 6 other people so I learnt a lot about lots of different cultures.

STUDENT LIFE
Personal social experience
Activities
KEY:
Amazing! Hardly had time to study.
Plenty to do when I had the time.
So-so.
Did not get involved.
Nightlife
Travel
Overall
Describe host city: Students interact with the local community without much university involvement
Activities, Nightlife, Travel: Takes place mostly outside the university/student environment
Personal comments:
"El Palacio" is definitely a place to go to on Thursday nights! There was a "cerveceria" too which was cool in the area of "chuecas" and the "chocolateria" next to "el palacio"!

Disappointing.

Interaction with teachers
Interaction with other international students

Course recommendations:
If you are studying languages, and especially English, don't go there! There were courses for future journalists. I thought it was interesting but other people were bothered by that.

Almost impossible.

Family
Other sources of funding:
None
Work opportunities:
I didn't explore any work options
Personal spending habits:
First of all, food in Spain is less expensive than in France, housing as well. I spent more money for the telephone because I had to buy phone cards to call home whereas I don't pay anything when I'm in France. It wasn't that expensive, it is just that I usually don't buy phone cards.
Telephone: was more expensive than at home.
Travel, Nightlife: was the same price as at home.
Food, Overall, Housing: was less expensive than at home.
