Grenoble École de Management also known as Grenoble Graduate School of business, was founded in the year 1984. A Ecole Supérieure de Commerce family of Schools (French Grande Ecole) GGSB is situated in Grenoble, France. The school offers a full-time MBA program, Masters degrees, doctoral programs, other Executive programs. Grenoble Ecole de Management also offers 30 national and international programs. Amongst the few schools in the world which has a specialized course in Technology Management GGSB hosts a talent pool of students from various nationalities.

It is a new, very modern school that is rated among the top 7 of French business schools and is highly estimated among recruiters, companies, people in general and so on. The student life is very active and it impressed me. ESCG has good partnerships both in academic and professional terms. Also it has a good location and the area is developing with several construction sites. FINAL COMMENTS
For you ski lovers, this is your Mekka! Grenoble is a great place to be and it is easy to get around. For instance, it is the capital of the Alps, Italy is a 2 or 3 hour drive away, so is Geneva, Switzerland. Paris is 3 hours and Lyon is 1 hour away by train. These are only examples, there are lots of possibilities. A tip is to get the "Carte 12-25" if you're under 25, you get up to 50% off on train fares and there are also other advantages. Before you leave, make sure you have all the papers you can think of plus several copies. You will need them in France as it has a bureaucratic and paper-loving administration. The school explains you what to do and where to go in order to get your visa, which is very important. Also you must register with the Caisse d'Allocations Familiales, it is worth the pain and effort: you get money back on your rent! A really nioce bonus that helps on your budget!! Book a hotel in advance, because finding a room could take some time. When you like skiing arrange a discount pass at the university or le GUC, have fun and just go out (easiest way of preventing a culture shock) This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

ESC-Grenoble is a premier business school in Europe. I would recommend it, and the skiing and snowboarding are a great plus. FINAL COMMENTS

The GEM was very helpful concerning bank account or housing. The organisation is french style - so it take some weeks before everything works well. Travel tips: Lyon (esp. 8th of december!), Annecy!!!, Paris (only 3hours with the TGV), rambling in the mountains (Vercors, Chartreuse, etc.), Geneve (2 hours with the train) This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
