I don't know exactly. By the way, for the phone... if you go in france and are you planning to use "Orange" like selfphone operetor, change immidiatelly your mind... it is very expensive, much better SFR. Food, Travel, Overall, Telephone: was more expensive than at home. Nightlife: was the same price as at home. Housing: was less expensive than at home.
Personal comments:
burocracy is "french". When you get GEM, the international office will try to ask you all the kind of assurances, if you insist a little bit and you are european, you don't need all those assurance. Pay attention This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

When you study abroad, you will spend more money on travelling as you go to see new places. At home, I stayed in Oslo most of the time and I didn't go much out as nightlife is very expensive in Oslo. In Grenoble the prices are a lot better and I could spend money in bars etc. without much of a guilty conscience! Travel, Nightlife: was more expensive than at home. Food, Overall, Telephone, Housing: was less expensive than at home.
Personal comments:
Open a French bank account. Do your shopping in "grandes surfaces" such as Carrefour, the prices are lower and it is worth the effort. plus they have EVERYTHING you need, and then I really mean everything!! This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Food was cheaper, since I had less left over and that kind of stuff, phone was cheaper, because I have a mobile phone at home, nightlife is more expensive because beverage prices are higher, in the Netherlands is traveling free, in France not, and we went skiing every week! Travel, Nightlife, Overall: was more expensive than at home. Housing: was the same price as at home. Food, Telephone: was less expensive than at home.

Do not open your bank account with LCL bank. They seem to be the best bank for students but in fact you will spend more than you save. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Cook yourself - it's cheaper! Find early enough an apartment yourself - it's cheaper! Be prepared that french banks are not used to receive cash, most of the financial actions are transfers and they also often use cheques. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
