Why? Every exchange students were living in the Residence however we haven't really share time with real dutch people

My level before: Everyday knowledge (shopping, directions, etc.)
My level after: No problems in any areas (including slang)
Personal comments:
When the course started was a little bit difficult to maintain a fluent communication, but later with all my fellows speaking almost with the same accent the situation changed notably. About my daily life, in The Netherlands all the people speaks English properly that helped me a lot of.

Because the cost of life is higher there
Food, Travel, Overall, Housing: was more expensive than at home.
Nightlife, Telephone: was the same price as at home.

While we are in the Euro zone, it took 6 weeks to get the money from a french check done in euros

Get all the necessary information before travelling to Holland as the culture and language differ a lot from thos of us from Africa.
