I visited amsterdam before so i knew the city, maybe for the housing because although i didn't have problmes some of my friend had.

More than just the university it is spacially the city that I loved, Amsterdam is so beautiful, living there is really great. The university is good but you go there to study.

according to me if there is an ideal destination to study and to party it is Amsterdam. I just loved to live there am most of the people I met there feel the same way.

The University is very closely connected to real case studies, which will proveide an insight in "real" hands on business problems and solutions. The lectures are mostly people from the business

it is always a good experience, it permits you to learn much more than to get only academic skills. You become more independant, you are forced to face problems you wouldn't have in your home country. You meet a lot of peolpe...

The accomodation situation must be improved...some students really have a bad time!

Amsterdam is a very attractive city and the HES has a very good reputation. If you dont mind bad weather and rain, then you should definitely go for it!

It was a great experience, the Unversity arranged a whole week of activities in the beginning so that everyone can get to know each other, which was great. The teachers were very easy going and open, so it was easy to talk to them and have a more relaxed relationship.



FINAL COMMENTS

If you want to travel around Holland quiet often they have this amazing discount card for trains, it costs around 60 euros for one year and you get 40% discount on all train fares, it is perfect if you like to go to the beach in den Haag, or to parties in different cities, or just to get to know the other lovely cities of Holland.

It is a very international university. It is very nice to study there, but also a lot of work!! And the organization is not the best.

Remember, if you are coming from America, Dutch schools are way different. Be prepared!

Check out all the discount airlines like Easy Jet, Ryanair, and bmi baby! Also, busses are cheap and effective, check out Student Agency from Czech Republic!

The experience at poeldijkstraat the aparmetn location was a live changin one. The academic studies qhere also ok. Take advantage of both and travel around Holland.

You will love Amsterdam! Good organised student life, helpful university staff, nice student housing.



FINAL COMMENTS

Amsterdam is one of the most beautiful cities on this planet. You must visit the festivals if you will be there in the summer time. Amsterdam´s centre is not very big-that is why a bike is a very good way to save travel expenses. Besides everyone goes by bike in Amsterdam-it`s easy to get one there.

The HES is not a good school. There were no resources and you were pretty much on your own. You might as well have been attending home school, it was a waste of time. Other than the school the expereince was awesome. Be prepared to meet people from all over the world. Also buy a bike ASAP, you won't regret it!

Knowledge is useful and can be easily used in practice. Sports activities are much better than other universities in the Netherlands.

Now, i'm getting used to this study-life abroad. Just work hard towards your objective and try to join the local people's life, then you'll find it wonderful.
