Why? living with falily has some disadvantages as you have to adapt to them, dont have absolute freedom, because you dont live alone

there is no housing proveded, you have to look for that yourself, thou university staff gives some useful contacts and addresses

delirium cafe and le corbeau - a must! quite a good club mirano (near madou), the wild geese (irish pub near shuman), there's no one great club we always went to, we tried out everything

Personal comments:
The english experience has been perfect, studying throughout one year economic texts it gave me the technical vocabulary I lacked.Now I am also able to recognize different accents of foreigners in english. I had the opportunity to learn french, being brussels french/dutch speaker. I studied it first at EHSAL, then I took a 120 hours course at Universitè Libre de Bruxelles, obtaining a diploma.

Nightlife in Brussels is quite expensive; housing on the other side can be quite cheap,if you find the right location.
Nightlife: was more expensive than at home.
