The 'hogescholen' in The Netherlands offer a wide variety of higher professional education in applied science. In January 1995 a new 'Hogeschool' has come into existence: The Hogeschool van Utrecht. It is a result of a merging process of three institutes for higher professional education in Utrecht.
The Hogeschool van Utrecht is one of the largest in The Netherlands; it offers a wide variety of programmes in technology,science and engineering, commerce and administration, communications, health care, teacher training and social welfare.

housing in holland in general is very expensive, meaning the price you pay is in no relation to what you get back for it, by the way there is no regulation whatsoever what kind of housing you can actually call housing
