I spent more for foods because it's little expensive than in France. For my phone it's normal, because I had a french number. And for travel, I spent more to visit the host country, which is very rich in culture and landscape.

The most significant financial surprise, what's the price of the parking, very expensive. Otherwise, to travel it's very cheaper than in my home country, by train, by plane.

My advise for the university would be to get their management under control, because for now it is a complete chaos.

The Nethelands is a nice country with a lot of opportunities and perspectives, but be careful of what you are choosing, especially it concerns schools.

The accomodation itself was fine, however if there were problem, i.e. Damp, or water leaking the association took a long time to rectify the problems. However this was the housing association and not the university.

It's a very nice school, people are nice and the social aspects are very well represented. The economics department wasn't very organized, but the management department is. It's a great experience, the location of the school is nice and the lessons are mostly interesting.

Make sure you have a map of the city, with the public transport on it as well. It's good to know dutch people as well, who can help you if you have a problem or need something. It's good to know that most dutch people speak very good english, so the language shouldn'be a problem.

Housing
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - I had no other choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
I prefer to live on my own, to have as much freedom as possible. But it's nice to share facilities like the kitchen and toilet, because then you have social contacts as well.

Buy a monthly pass for travel, works out cheaper. Cook in groups, take turns to invite peopl e round you end up paying much less for a decent meal taht you enjoyed cooking.
