I can't think of a better place to spend your erasmus. To make things even greater, try to find french student who have done their erasmus in your home country. They'll be glad to help you and you'll make great new freinds! Read Review

HOUSING
Personal assessment
Cost
KEY:
Couldn't have asked for more.
Pretty good.
Could've been better, but didn't lessen the overall experience.
Disappointing.
Facilities
Location
Cleanliness
Space
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why? The location is great, the rent is cheap and it's the best way to get to know people!
Personal comments:
Even though the residences aren't the cleanest or most comfortable places on earth, they're a good option for the erasmus.

Plenty to do when I had the time.
So-so.
Did not get involved.
Nightlife
Travel
Overall
Describe host city: Student life dominates the city
Nightlife: Takes place mostly within the university/student environment
Activities, Travel: Takes place both within and outside of the university/student environment
Personal comments:
For those who love coffee and cakes, Le Petit Sacha on Rue du Taur. And for the night La Place St. Pierre where you're bound to find all the erasmus.

Language of instruction: French
Was learning French a key decision factor?
Yes, I wanted to improve my French
How much did you improve your French?
My level before: At ease in most situations
My level after: No problems in any areas (including slang)
Personal comments:
You can only learn french by being in France! To be able to follow the courses you'll have to have pretty good skills from the beginning, but your skills will develop outside the school as well. Speak french also with the other erasmus!!
