HOUSING
by Brita, Bowdoin College, Brunswick, United States
Political Science, University Agreement
Personal assessment
Type of housing: With a family
Arranged by: Home university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? I would like to have my independence. However, living with a family is extremely helpful with language skills.
Personal comments:
I had many friends who lived in university dorms, which were basic but it is fun to live among peers. Living with a host family was a wonderful way to integrate in the community and learn a great deal about the culture. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

STUDENT LIFE
by Taina, Jyväskylän Yliopisto, Jyvaskyla, Finland
Political Science, Erasmus
Personal social experience
Describe host city: Student life dominates the city
Nightlife: Takes place mostly within the university/student environment Activities, Travel: Takes place both within and outside of the university/student environment Personal comments:
For those who love coffee and cakes, Le Petit Sacha on Rue du Taur. And for the night La Place St. Pierre where you're bound to find all the erasmus. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
