HOUSING
Personal assessment
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: To be immersed in the language
Why? Living with a family would have forced me to communicate more in French and therefore helped me to learn more of the language
Personal comments:

Language difficulties
Language of instruction: English
Local language was: Different than language of instruction.
Was learning English a key decision factor?
No, it wasn't. Was learning French a key decision factor?
Yes, I wanted to improve my French How much did you improve your French?
My level before: Did not speak it My level after: Everyday knowledge (shopping, directions, etc.) Personal comments:
My classes were in english, so there was no problem understanding the teachers, and most of the french students at the University spoke some english, so we could communicate. It was hard to practice french in the city sometimes because people would recognize my accent and start answering me in english. EXPENSES
The accessibility of student needs
Main source of funding:
Personal savings Other sources of funding:
Government assistance Work opportunities:
I didn't explore any work options Personal spending habits:
The nightlife was much more expensive because Nice is a big city and prices are always higher in the city for nightlife. I spent more in France on travel than I do at home because here at home i dont travel as often as i did there. Travel, Nightlife: was more expensive than at home. Overall, Telephone, Housing: was the same price as at home. Food: was less expensive than at home.
Personal comments:
The ATM's will charge you a transaction fee for every withdrawl so i would withdraw the maximum amount of money i could and then leave it at home until i needed it cutting down on four or five more transaction fees. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Personal recommendation:
I really liked this university, I had classes with only American students, but there were plenty of opportunities to meet french, and other european students. FINAL COMMENTS
Nice was a great location, you could take the night train to Rome, Paris, or Barcelona and be there the next day!! This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
