HOUSING
by lotita2002, Siauliai University, Siauliai, Lithuania
Education, Erasmus
Personal assessment
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? It is better to find an apartment/house with the help of local people so that not to overpay.
Personal comments:
It was pretty good,I can't complain about accomodation. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Language difficulties
Language of instruction: English
Local language was: Different than language of instruction.
Was learning English a key decision factor?
No, it wasn't. Was learning the local language a key decision factor?
Yes, I wanted to improve my knowledge How much did you improve your English?
My level before: At ease in most situations My level after: At ease in most situations How much did you improve your local language?
My level before: Did not speak it My level after: Everyday knowledge (shopping, directions, etc.) Personal comments:
Courses of a host country language started too late - and that is why we managed to learn only the most common phrases. However, we had a lot of opportunities to practise Portuguese in everyday life - e.g. shopping, traveling as English is popular only in major cities in Portugal This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

I wish I had known...
i wish i knew that it is so cold in Braganca the winter and that you need a car if you stay near ISLA or IPB. In my opinion:

Personal recommendation:
