Location
Cleanliness
Space
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? It is better to find an apartment/house with the help of local people so that not to overpay.
Personal comments:
It was pretty good,I can't complain about accomodation.

Educational

Overall
Language of instruction: English
Local language was: Different than language of instruction.
Was learning English a key decision factor?
No, it wasn't.
Was learning the local language a key decision factor?
Yes, I wanted to improve my knowledge
How much did you improve your English?
My level before: At ease in most situations
My level after: At ease in most situations
How much did you improve your local language?
My level before: Did not speak it
My level after: Everyday knowledge (shopping, directions, etc.)
Personal comments:
Courses of a host country language started too late - and that is why we managed to learn only the most common phrases. However, we had a lot of opportunities to practise Portuguese in everyday life - e.g. shopping, traveling as English is popular only in major cities in Portugal

I wish I had known...
i wish i knew that it is so cold in Braganca the winter and that you need a car if you stay near ISLA or IPB.
In my opinion:
Everybody loved it, you will too!

During my experience abroad, I ...
Became familiar with another culture
KEY:
Happened all the time.
Happened quite a lot.
Happened a bit.
Didn't happen.

Personal recommendation:
it's not a university...it's a private institution and it looks like a private school. So if the reason of the erasmus is academic, dont go.
