Description:
The University of Joensuu was established in 1969. It includes five faculties and six independent units. The University offers undergraduate and graduate degree in seven different fields: education, humanities, natural sciences, social sciences, agricultural science and forestry, theology and psychology. The University has campuses or research units in four different locations: Joensuu, Savonlinna, Ilomantsi and Liperi.

I was surprised how well most of the Finns speak English (altough sometimes they deny it). I went to Finland to learn more Finnish and it was not easy because I often ended up talking in English.I had some difficulties understanding local people who speak dialects. i was used to an english environment in my home country due to the studies i do, so it wasn't at all a big change in finland. in fact it was the same...maybe more native english speakers as teachers, that's all This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

In Finland the official language is finish but everybody (90%) of population speak english and in the university all is in english.That was no problem This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
