Personal assessment
Type of housing: corridor student room
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Corridor room
Why? Great for meeting people, very good facilities and good value
Personal comments:
Although for some students it can be hard to find accomodation straight away due to the high demand, the conditions are excellent. There is a good atmosphere in the corridors and it is a good way to make friends. The rooms are also well furnished and spacious. Personal social experience
Describe host city: Student life dominates the city
Activities: Takes place mostly within the university/student environment Nightlife, Travel: Takes place both within and outside of the university/student environment Personal comments:
downtown, Steve's coffee, Nationarnahaus or plata (especially on thursdays). Sweden is a beautiful country, so everything has to be seen especially the polar cercle in winter. It's also good idea to go to Copenhagen. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Yes, I wanted to improve my Swedish How much did you improve your English?
My level before: No problems in any areas (including slang) My level after: No problems in any areas (including slang) How much did you improve your Swedish?
My level before: Did not speak it My level after: Everyday knowledge (shopping, directions, etc.) Personal comments:
I speak English, also before going there and the university was pretty English oriented, which made it harder for me to motivate myself to learn the local language. I tried however with an intensive language course at the beginning of the semester This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Personal comments:
You'd better watch for discounts. Especialy discounts for travels by train and plane for people under 25 may be especially attractive. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Important to choosing this university...
I wish I had known...
nothing In my opinion:
Everybody loved it, you will too!
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
Very nice university, people from over Sweden come to study here, Linkoping is a student city and there are many facilities for students. The educational level is very high FINAL COMMENTS
I had a lot of fun, met new people. Swedish people are very friendly, but I was not easy to find good friends amoung Swedes because the erasmus network is very big, and a lot of exchange students are always together. Well it is up to you, I am improving my swedish everyday and I am trying to find a balance between beeing with erasmus students and with the Swedish students. To finish, I really recommand to go abroad, and Linkoping is a very good choice, I feel like a real student :-) so don t hesitate, just do it, you won t regret it, and if you do I will take the responsablity.
