HOUSING

Personal assessment
Type of housing: Student Corridor
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Same sa before
Why? I would have preffered WG's (sharred appartments) but it is very uncommon here, if you do it, you would only share it with friends/people you have known before, the student corridors are the second best way of meeting people
Personal comments:
It is cheap, high standart (own bathroom, only kitchen is shared) fantastic internet connection, all other exchange students live here in fact only students live here This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Language difficulties
Language of instruction: English
Was learning English a key decision factor?
No, it wasn't. Personal comments:
Swedes speak great English so you can get away without speaking a word of English. However, I suggest you study the languange as much as possible, especially if your like me and only speak English fluently :o( This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Food and drinks are really expensive here in Sweden. But, housing is really cheap (according to the services that we receive). More money in travelling, because that is one of the most important point of one year abroad. Food, Travel, Nightlife, Overall: was more expensive than at home. Housing: was the same price as at home. Telephone: was less expensive than at home.

Important to choosing this university...
I wish I had known...
if the swedish courses are accepted by my home university In my opinion:
Everybody loved it, you will too!
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
go there!!! 100% recommended!!! FINAL COMMENTS
Linköping may not be a very well-known town. Actually it is rather small compared to german towns (135000 inhabitants). But the student life and the university are extraordinary. Göteborg and Stockholm are reachable within 2-3 hours. Sweden is a big country... This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
