Everything here is more expensive than in my home country. It's not really cosly but it could leave you broke if you're not financially conscious.

You'll be spending heaps on books, so be prepared. ;) But in fact, sometimes you can just do fine without books. There's plenty of info. (Inet, library...)

Sydney is overall very expensive, but one thing is pretty bad, international students are not eligable for concessions in public transport, it would be nice to change this, since we pay already much higher tution fees!

Food is more expensive with products like milk... Accomodation was more expensive because in a big city! Telephone is very cheap Travelling is cheap but distances are huge so....
