Everything here is more expensive than in my home country. It's not really cosly but it could leave you broke if you're not financially conscious.
Food, Travel, Nightlife, Overall, Housing: was more expensive than at home.
Telephone: was the same price as at home.
Personal comments:
You'll be spending heaps on books, so be prepared. ;) But in fact, sometimes you can just do fine without books. There's plenty of info. (Inet, library...)

I wish I had known...
Don't be shocked if you come from a non Asian county. There are so many Asian students in Australia, it seems that the majority of all students on campus are Asians. It's ok, but just be prepared. They are nice guys and gals... :)
