HOUSING
Personal assessment
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? it is the best way to grasp the local life outside of university. There are so many foreign students that if one stay on campus, one will never have any idea of the locals way of life
Personal comments:
housing on campu were incredibly good but the campus was also very far away from downtown This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

STUDENT LIFE
Personal social experience
Describe host city: Students interact with the local community without much university involvement
Activities: Takes place mostly within the university/student environment Travel: Takes place mostly outside the university/student environment Nightlife: Takes place both within and outside of the university/student environment Personal comments:
Oxford street is one of the most lively night life places of Sydney although it is reputated unsafe. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

My academic experiences
Course recommendations:
as exchange students, in other words students who did not pay normal fees, we did not have a choice for lectures. Also, quite desappointing not to see any locals within the students
My opinion of the university assessment
Personal comments:
more tutorials for foreign students This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Language difficulties
Language of instruction: English
Was learning English a key decision factor?
Yes, I wanted to improve my English How much did you improve your English?
My level before: Basic phrases My level after: At ease in most situations Personal comments:
local and academic languages were the same one: English. I would say that I learnt as much (speaking) socilay than at the university. Classes were excellent for writing skills This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

OVERALL
Important to choosing this university...
I wish I had known...
the location (far from town) and the academic level of the university In my opinion:
Most people loved it.
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
more flexibility in choosing lectures and more group exercises or participation of students in class FINAL COMMENTS
my academic experience was not ideal, however, I would do the very same. In such an experience abraod, one learns more from others and people we meet than from claasses that are, at the end of the day, pretty much the same as at home This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
