Odense Universitet review by Wouter
HOUSING
Personal assessment
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why? Easy to meet a lot of people in a relatively short amount of time.
Personal comments:
Was at Rasmus Raskkollegiet, student complex with everything you need there. Bit far from town, though... This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

STUDENT LIFE
Personal social experience
Describe host city:
Nightlife: Takes place mostly outside the university/student environment Activities, Travel: Takes place both within and outside of the university/student environment Personal comments:
Odense is a good starting point for travelling, that's for sure. Nightlife is good, you just need to find the right times and places... This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

My academic experiences
Course recommendations:
Not really that much English courses on offer. I believe it is better now, though..
My opinion of the university assessment
Personal comments:
They make examination relatively "easy" for exchange students - don't worry too much about it. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

EXPENSES
The accessibility of student needs
Main source of funding:
An ERASMUS grant Other sources of funding:
Family Personal savings Work opportunities:
I didn't explore any work options Personal spending habits:
Albeit one of the cheaper Scandinavian countries, Denmark is still quite expensive, worse than Holland for example. A beer downtown is hilariously expensive... Food, Travel, Nightlife, Overall, Housing: was more expensive than at home. Telephone: was the same price as at home.
Personal comments:
Rema supermarket for your groceries. Check the nights downtown when beer is on special offer, saves money. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

OVERALL
Important to choosing this university...
I wish I had known...
In my opinion:
Everybody loved it, you will too!
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
Odense actually a very good place to study, you'll be surprised! FINAL COMMENTS
Odense lies in a great central spot to first of all visit other places in Denmark, secondly to see some of the rest of Scandinavia as well. Use that. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
