“In the summer make sure to visit all the lakes surrounding Salzburg. Also although it is pricey to travel around in Austria, Salzburg is only 5 minutes away from Germany, where train travel costs next to nothing - make sure to travel around Bavaria throughly.” Read Review

Why? The flat I lived in was far from University.
Personal comments:
Although I did not live in the University housing, I had many friends who did, and the vast majority of Halls of Residence were of a very good quality-price ratio.

Republik, and for experience sake, the Tomaselli Cafe. Make sure to make it to all Romanistik parties, although Geswi should be avoided.

I had previous knowledge of German, and did improve greatly my spoken skill, however, my written skill did not improved as much as expected, as I could only attend German grammar classes.
