There are two possibilities in programmes: EURO BA course which is in English or the french version. It is almost impossible to change programmes during the year. Make sure you know what you want to do in advance. I took the english course, this is only with foreign students, the french course was mixed with the french students. I am used from the UBS in Holland that also the english programme is being taken by nationals it would have been a more learnful experience if there would have been some french students in our programme....

It is a great opportunity to study at Sup Europe but you really have to make the most of it, it won't be handed over on a silver platter.

Since July 2002 the flow of money between european countries is fee so I could extract money from a french ATM without extra costs! The banks charge you 30 euro fine when you close your bank account!! When you want to open an bank account use the CIC bank, it is the cheapest for students. When ariving in caen arrange a bank account right away; you cannot get your key (address) from the room agency without an insurance and you can only pay the insurance with a cheque which we do not have in holland, and you can not get a cheque from the bank because yo do not have a bankaccount and can not get it without proof of residence!!! TIP: Open the bank account first or else ask Sophie Collet from Sup Europe to sign a cheque for you so that you can pay her the amount in cash.

The communication with the appartment renting bureau was poor and the contact with the 'gardien' not that great since neither spoke any english or even tried to! Even though the majority of the inhabitants was foreign! But reflecting on the situation.. this made me more eager to learn the language, which was why I came to study in France.
