A really good nightclub and huge above all is located in Hanley the closest city and it can accept like 2700 students at the same moment. another good club, bar is the uni one: LRV (but just wednesday and friday )

for a french it's not the best choice ever. this year more than 80 french students were there which is quite huge seeing the size of the campus

Final comments
For the accomodation if you want to live with international students or people you want to know a minimum before to live definitely with them, the best thing to do is to stay one month or a little more in a shared accomodation via the university facilities then to know people and after take a shared independent house with them

the biginning was really difficult, speak all day another language is quite intensive for the mind but after one month it's already better. the point is to try and to not be afraid or ashamed
