Description:
Thammasat is the second oldest university in Thailand. Established by the Thammasat University Act in 1933, it was inaugurated on June 27, 1934 with an objective of generating the learning of law and politics. The University was then named "Thammasat Lae Karn Muang" meaning literally, "The University of Moral Science and Politics". In 1952 the name was shortened to Thammasat University.

Most tourist places speak English but definitely learn the language. The native appreciate it so much more just for trying!

Thailand is overall just inexpensive. Less than a 1 us dollar a meal! You can't beat that. Drinks at the club are expensive though
