Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Home university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? The apartment was great, the neighborhood was close to the school but also easy to get to the center of the city. No way I could find something similar on my own, especially living so far away.
Personal comments:
We had a cleaning option in our apartment and the daily cleaning service was great. (They don't do your laundry and dishes)

Activities, Nightlife: Takes place mostly outside the university/student environment
Travel: Takes place both within and outside of the university/student environment
Personal comments:
I am a huge jazz fan so I hit up the jazz clubs. Alexanderplatz was by the vatican, Gregory's Jazz Club, behind the spanish steps, La Palma Club, and various other venues for live music around the city. Rome has a great scene for live music, specifically jazz.
