In the city town you have lots of things to do. You can go to many places to meet with friends. We used to go to a pub in the centre called Lamme Goedzak, where all the Erasmus parties were organised; there we met all the international people. We also went to the Cafe Bolle, to the Cafe Philip and many other pubs next to them in the centre of Tilburg. The ESN Tilburg could not be better, they organised really good events and parties for the Erasmus students. It was a great experience in a great city where I could learn more about the dutch culture and about many other cultures. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

ESN Tilburg is an organization that take care of exchange students. Every Tuesday there are mentor dinners and after De Lamme Goedzak parties. This place is awful. The music, the atmosphere, whatever you can think of is horrible. However, people just go there to see other exchanges and to get in contact..Clancy's, an Irish pub is really nice. Go to "de lamme Goedzak" on Tuesdays to meet all the other exchange students and get drunk there. Thursdays the best place to go is "Polly Magoo". And all the other days: Just go to the city center and step into a bar - but expect techno-music and a very crowded environment! We usually met at the Puk en Muk, where the Erasmus student network organized our meetings at least once a week. All the cafes and night spots are concentrated in this same area. Good plaves to go is Cafe Bolle, Cafe Kandinsky. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Visit Amsterdam, Maastricht, Munich, Praga.... From my point of view, the best pub is Polly Magu. If you go on autumn semester, Saint Nicholas day (December, 6th) is a good oportunity to have a premature Christmas dinner This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

the discotheqe 013. Was really good and had an excellent program of music concerts. Not "cafe", "coffe-shop". Like in most parts of holland, you have a lot of choices and none of them are bad This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

There are a couple of nice bars but it depends on what you like. Personally am tired of the bars full of noisy, bad manner dutch students. But you can always find something you like in Tilburg. Dutch students do not talk too much with Internationa students so if you go out and you are an international student, probably you will hang out with other internatioanls. Dutch students just do not dare to talk with us too much. They are a bit " marrow" not as open as we think they are. Which is a pity. Tilburg gets easily boring after a while; but there are nice places as Cul de Sac, Kandinsky, Paradox, Studio. Often we prefer though do jump on a train and go out in another city. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
