Dutch people talk a perfect english. The do not ussually have stange accents, so it is a good opprtunity to improve your english. Talking about Dutch language, I can only comment that it is quite difficult for latin languages native speakers.

Dutch people is too serious and sometimes (like everywhere) when you ask them for something they do not look at you. But, when they (80%) look at you, they help you a lot. Although they have to stop their own activities.

Visit Amsterdam, Maastricht, Munich, Praga.... From my point of view, the best pub is Polly Magu. If you go on autumn semester, Saint Nicholas day (December, 6th) is a good oportunity to have a premature Christmas dinner

Housing
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why?
Because almost every student in Tilburg live on campus or at a cycling distance of about 5 minutes. In my case, more than 25 minutes cycling separated my home from the university.
