HOUSING
Personal assessment
Type of housing:
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: A room exchange
Why? even if it can you days and weeks to find a room in BCN it's worth the trouble. there's incredible flats that you would not know anything about if you would accept the first offer you are given.
Personal comments:
Living on the campus and nearby villages means a 45 minutes travel to the city of BCN. However, you are adviced to live in the heart of a city if you want to it to move you. To me BCN offers a thousand things I can benefit from and I think it would be sad to limit yourself by living outside the city. Although the UAB offers rooms in the city as well especially these are often connected with never-thought-of problems coming up. That list would start with the Erasmus Office: it should be run by people able to speak english... Maybe it would end with the seminars: unfortunately, there's no academical challenge. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
