Why? I live in a shared appartment and my flatmates are just great! Like a second family!
Personal comments:
The accomodation offered by the uni is expensive and the main problem is that you have to share your bedroom. Plus, the Universitat Autonoma is very far from BCN centre, not very convenient!

Almost all the lectures are in catalan! Better get prepared!!! Big problem with the access to computer and other audiovisual facilities

Personal spending habits:
The movile phone fayre is expensive and i don't have a phone at home. The accommodation is cheaper than in France. The night life in BCN is more expensive than in the rest of Spain but it's also more attractive! I travelled less cause i was broke... I didn't eat more than what i eat normally!
Nightlife, Overall, Telephone: was more expensive than at home.
Food: was the same price as at home.
Travel, Housing: was less expensive than at home.

I would recommend it to anybody who wants to spend a semester in a sunny, fun and thrilling city! Don't expect too much studying! But that's what Erasmus is all about right?
