seville is one of the most beautiful city that i have ever seen , people are nice , open minded if you have lost your way don't worry there is always someone to show you , you can eat and drink for 10 euros , the entry in most of the clubs are free , there is many parks and church to visit and the university is a big one but like in town young people are very cool;

Sevila is a beautiful city, close to both Madrid (too big and expensive) and the coast (beautiful). It is big enough to have everything you want, and still small enough to be manageble. Great university, cheap too. And I learned Spanish!

I enjoyed my time here but it takes some getting used to as there is a long bus ride from the center of town and they were constantly doing construction.

Studying abroad is an amazing experience. To save some money when traveling visit a travel agent to help you book your trip.

I wish I had realized how much I would stick out so that I could have mentally prepared for the stares and cat calls.

I believe it is a great university for those who are beginner Spanish speakers and are nervous of being thrown into the mix without any safety nets. They do offer Spanish courses in English. As well, it is a new university with clean facilities.

Travelling while abroad can be fun when done spontaneously, but be aware of the time restrictions since you are attending classes during the week. Take in as much of the culture as you can as well as take advantage of all the opportunities that will involve you more in the community and the university. Lastly, make friends with the locals. They can teach you things books can't and they can give you experiences that will last forever.

Overall

For those who like to dance, there were plenty of clubs like the outdoor club Sumo alongside the river. As well as the ever popular club Boss that played lots of American Pop music, and Catedral the disco bar. For those who like quiet outdoor cafes, Triana was the section of town to visit. One of the more interesting bars by far had to be La Carboneria, which offers art exhibits, jazz, folk and brazilian music as well as flamenco shows in the evening. El Centro is the area to go shop since it has the most traditional shopping area. As for food, one has to try tapas while in Sevilla. They are small portions of all kinds of food.
