I really enjoyed my stay and studies abroad. Just do whatever you can and enjoy your time, because it will be a lot different than your normal life. Look for somebody who can helo you finding a place, because that is not that easy if more people are looking for a place to stay. Read Review

HOUSING
Personal assessment

KEY:
Couldn't have asked for more.
Pretty good.
Could've been better, but didn't lessen the overall experience.
Disappointing.
Facilities
Location
Cleanliness
Space
Type of housing:
Arranged by: Independently - I had no other choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? Because it is really nice to live together with other people (depends as well on kind of people). But privacy is also important for me
Personal comments:
University did not arrange accomodation, so it was independantly

ACADEMIC       2.5 / 5
My academic experiences
Quality of courses
KEY:
Fantastic.
Pretty good.
Could've been a bit better.
Disappointing.
Variety of courses
Availability/access to resources
Interaction with teachers
Interaction with other international students
Interaction with local students
Course recommendations:
Classes are taught in a different way as I was used to. Just making a lot of notes while listening to lecturers. My home university is more practical

My opinion of the university assessment
Exams at end of course
KEY:
Liked it.
It was alright.
A bit annoying.
Didn't like it.
Exams throughout the course
Essays and/or projects at the end of course.
Essays and/or projects throughout the course
Overall
Personal comments:
That lecturers realise more that foreign people perhaps are not used to language and way of studies, so more help and understanding of them.

My level after: No problems in any areas (including slang)
Personal comments:
I already spoke some Spanish before I went, but my Spanish was pretty good, (and still is because of prcatising)when I came back

Telephone: was the same price as at home.
Food, Travel, Nightlife, Overall, Housing: was less expensive than at home.
Personal comments:
No, I realised before that it was gonna be an expensive year. Tips, try to spread the money you have over the time that you will be there. So do not spend evertyhing in the beginning!

OVERALL
Important to choosing this university...
Academic reasons
KEY:
Very Important.
Important.
Not really important.
Unimportant.

Campus life
Party / people
Weather / Location
I wish I had known...
Not not really, because you never know what will come. I just wanted more help fidning a place to stay, because that was not that easy. Also arrangements of residences and working permits can be arranged a lot faster. Now I recieved it in February, so before I couldn't even look for a job, and after that, so it was too late allready.
In my opinion:
Everybody loved it, you will too!

During my experience abroad, I ...
Became familiar with another culture
KEY:
Happened all the time.
Happened quite a lot.
Happened a bit.
Didn't happen.
Traveled
Improved language skills
Met people from other countries
Became more independent
Partied a lot
Experienced a change in life
Advanced my studies/career
Personal recommendation:
Nice, small private university, but realise that the atmosphere can be different than on a public one
