Personal social experience
Describe host city: Students equally interact with the local and student community
Activities, Nightlife, Travel: Takes place both within and outside of the university/student environment Personal comments:
We often went to Zona 10 in la punta and sometimes to Sala 7. We also like Miramba...other fun things were of course el botellon in the Plaza de Mina in the winter and 'por la playa' in the summer. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

My academic experiences
Course recommendations:
ERASMUS student would be advised not to take mathematics-based subject or Investigacion comercial
My opinion of the university assessment
Personal comments:
The university needs to invest more money into its language schools. Computing facilities are a joke. Also, the university would do wel lto reduce the size of its classes for many subjects. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Language difficulties
Language of instruction: Spanish
Was learning Spanish a key decision factor?
Yes, I wanted to improve my Spanish How much did you improve your Spanish?
My level before: At ease in most situations My level after: No problems in any areas (including slang) Personal comments:
I had just spent 4 months in Portugal so althought originally my Spanish was much better I spent the 1st week trying to speak Potuguese! A week of flat hunting soon sorted that out and from then on I got back on track. Teachers are really friendly and try to mix speaking spanish and any other language they know to help you out.
