Description:
The UCA has its roots in the Royal Naval College of Surgery founded in 1748. Founded on the 30th October 1979, the University of Cádiz is a growing institution, closely interwoven with the economic and social fabric of the province.
The university consists of various campuses: the campus in the town centre of Cadiz offering Health Sciences, Arts and Humanities, Economics, and Engineering; the campus in Puerto Real offering scientific degrees (Chemistry, Mathematics, Chemical Engineering, Nautical and Naval Sciences), the Andalucian Centre for Marine Studies and the Faculty of Education Sciences also in Puerto Real, in Jerez de la Frontera Law and Business, and the Polytechnic in Algeciras.

Why? It was great value for money, near the beach and it was a huge flat

As it was arranged independantly I thought it was great, quite hard finding a place, but within a week I was fine.

Personal spending habits:
Everything is cheaper on a whole, the only expensive thing was phoning home.
Telephone: was more expensive than at home.
Food, Travel, Nightlife, Overall, Housing: was less expensive than at home.
Personal comments:
When withdrawing money abroad it doesn't show in the bank for upto two weeks, so keep an eye on your spending. No cost saving tips... It's nearly as cheap eating out all the time as cooking at home

It's lovely! I think a lot of people missed out by living in cities, as you use your languages more in small towns because less people can communicate in your mother tong.
