People are very helpful and patient. They appreciate it when you try to speak the language as they are sick of English speaking tourists not having a word of spanish.

Final comments
Go on the organised trip to the Sierra Nevada in Jan/Feb with the sports department of the Uni. Very cheap, all inc. Great fun! Nearest beach is salobrena then almunecar. Not beautiful, but beaches nonetheless.

C/ Pedro Antonio for newcomers then progress onto C/ Elvira for bars and more free drinks vouchers! Also c/ Elvira for Tapas. Tea Rooms in Albaizin a must! Los Italianos on Gran Via for the best ice cream! Il Gondoliere off Recogidas for award winning pizza. Crepe shop around the corner from Il Gondoliere, yummy!
