there is no specific place that could be described to be the best one. spanish people "move", especially as salamanca is such a small town. but you should really try the traditional way of going out (ir por tapas/ pinchos) in Calle VanDick. be prepared for a hole night (til 6:00), not eurlier than 23:00

Housing
Type of housing: A room exchange
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: A room exchange
Why?
you can eusily get in contact with new people (if room exchange means to share a house with other students, of which there are 7000 in Salamanca)

all the rooms i saw were pretty small. not all kitchens were clean. but if you take your time you will surele find something, with internet too, within of 3 or 5 days.dont expect luxuri, because, the rooms are frequently used by new students, who do not stay longer than a year in salamanca
