HOUSING
by Francesca, Università degli Studi di Padova, Padua, Italy
Communication and Information Sciences, Erasmus
Personal assessment
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Home university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? because the campus was far from the city and fron the facilities of the city
Personal comments:
I think housing at this university has been amazing because it was not so big, so it was easy to find what I wanted and to find someone which whom sharing my free time and my interests. From another point of view I think that a bigger city and a bigger university could give you more, about experiences and things to do. HOUSING

History of Art, University Agreement
Personal assessment
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: With a family
Why? During the summer time the majority of the students living in the dorms are foriegn. I was really looking forward to practicing my French, but no one on my floor was French, the majority were Chinese exchange students with little knowledge of the langague. Most of the people that were studying with Miami University spoke English a lot of the time which was frusterating as well since I wanted to improve my fluency in French.
Personal comments:
Housing is out of date compared to most American Universities. Simple facilities, rooms have a bed, desk, sink, and closet space. Co-ed bathrooms proved problematic at times (we had several "peeeper incedents" while I was there. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Personal assessment
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Independently - I had no other choice
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why? costs
Personal comments:
The room is very small but has most of the facilities one needs. However, washing machines as welll as dryers are very hard to reach. (about a ten minute walk to a place outside the campus area) The bathrooms were cleaned every day on weekdays i.e. there was no toilet paper left Staurday afternoon! Personal assessment
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why? Because it's cheap and you have the oppurtunity to get know a lot of French students
Personal comments:
Compared to German dorms the ones in France were really antiquated: 2 hotplates for 40 people, no fridge, you have to move out during the summer... But it's still the best place to meet people! This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

HOUSING
by Susan, Ohio State University, Columbus, United States

Personal assessment
Type of housing: La Résidence Internationale d'Etudiants
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? I would prefer to live in town with more privacy.
Personal comments:
The accommodation was not really that bad except for the noise levels in the evenings. I found it very difficult and frustrating to try to study and sleep at the dorm. Otherwise, I found it to be fairly comfortable. Although the food in the cafeteria was not exceptional, at least there was something available.
