“Nicht zu viele Sorgen machen, alles ist ein Chaos am Anfang und nicht einfach, aber es löst sich alles mit der Zeit! Man übe sich in Geduld!!! Um Leute kennenzulernen am Anfang sollte man einfach rausgehen. Kontakte lassen sich im Erasmusbüro, und dann auf den Erasmuspartys knüpfen. Sportliche Aktivitäten ausserhalb der Uni sind empfehlenswert um Leute kennenzulernen. Umbedingt sollte man sich Apulien anschauen. Personal comments:
Lieblings Disko für den Winter: Chiascia in Palombaio und Il Trappetto in Capitolo. Für den Sommer: Masseria Garrapa in Capitolo, Il Trappetto und das Blue Bay zwischen Otranto und S. Maria di Leuca! In Bari selber geht man auf den Piazza Ferrarese und den Piazza Mercantile mit den umliegenden Lokalen. Sowie die Flaniermeile des Corso Vittorio Emanuele. Für den Abend ist auch Lungomare von Trani und Bisceglie zu empfehlen. Sowie der Piazza in Torre a Mare oder die Altstadt von Polignano a Mare!!! Umbedingt Panzerotti essen bei "Cosimo", Frühstücken um 4Uhr morgens in der "Bar dello studente" oder im Panificio an der Via Amendola- wo es die besten Panini Baris gibt!!!!

Personal comments:
The opportunity to learn Italian language was the primary factor of my student experience. Because of that I am still very sorry about not having had possibility to take part in the language course. The host university didn´t provide it...but at least I could learn the language in reading newspapers they provided for us.. Anyway, I could learn Italian thanks to my local friends and I liked it. Although I still make many mistakes. I am bale to take part in the most discussions.

Personal spending habits:
Essen, ist teuer in Italien. Restaurants sind verhältnismäßig billig, der Supermarkt aber nicht. Vorallem Milchprodukte und Fleisch sind teuer. Obst und Fisch sind günstiger. Zimmer sind günstiger als in Deutschland, es ist aber durchaus üblich im Doppelzimmer zu wohnen, die meisten Studentenzimmer sind möbliert.
Food, Travel, Nightlife, Overall: was more expensive than at home.
Telephone: was the same price as at home.
Housing: was less expensive than at home.
Personal comments:
Aus Sicherheitsgründen nur bei ausgewählten Bankautomaten abheben, nicht mit zuviel Geld herumlaufen. Geldsparen: z.B. auf dem Markt einkaufen!

Personal recommendation:
Chaos total, aber immer hilfsbereit und nett. Die Chefin des Erasmusbüros ist super!!! Wirkliches Problem für mich war, das ich meinen Koordinator nicht finden konnte. Bis ich Ende des zweiten Semesters rausgefunden habe, dass er nicht in Bari ist in diesem Jahr! Bessere Organisation wäre hilfreich! Es kommt sicherlich auch auf das Studienfach an.



FINAL COMMENTS

Nicht zu viele Sorgen machen, alles ist ein Chaos am Anfang und nicht einfach, aber es löst sich alles mit der Zeit! Man übe sich in Geduld!!! Um Leute kennenzulernen am Anfang sollte man einfach rausgehen. Kontakte lassen sich im Erasmusbüro, und dann auf den Erasmuspartys knüpfen. Sportliche Aktivitäten ausserhalb der Uni sind empfehlenswert um Leute kennenzulernen. Umbedingt sollte man sich Apulien anschauen. Städte: Ostuni,Polignano,Trani,Alberobello,Lecce,Otranto,Gallipoli!! Im Sommer auf den Gargano und in den Salento!! Die schönsten Strände gibt es zwischen Vieste und Peschici, sowie in der Nähe von Otranto: Baia dei Turchi und Torre d'Orso!! Natürlich sollte man auch das Castell del Monte angucken.Es gibt Direktflüge mit Tuifly von Köln,Stuttgard,München nach Bari!!! Weitere Tipps gebe ich euch sehr gerne, wenn ihr mich anschreibt!!
