It was really a great experience! If you decide to go, don´t interact only with other Erasmus people, but try to get to know the local students as well. That way instead of improving your english you will learn italian ;) And you have the chance to get to know the Real Italy! Read Review

HOUSING
Personal assessment
Cost
KEY:
Couldn't have asked for more.
Pretty good.
Could've been better, but didn't lessen the overall experience.
Disappointing.
Facilities
Location
Cleanliness
Space
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - I had no other choice
If returning, I would choose: with other Erasmus people
Why? Definitely easier to live in the same apartment with students that are in the same situation. Lifestyyle is quite different from the "usual" students´ one.
Personal comments:
Start searching as soon as possible... The best rooms/apartments are gone by october.

Activities, Nightlife: Takes place both within and outside of the university/student environment
Personal comments:
Best cafe definitely "Moyo" in the city center, with free wireless internet! For aperitivo Sottosopra.

Culture
Costs
Activities
Campus life
Party / people
Weather / Location
I wish I had known...
That its almost impossible to pay with a card in smaller shops. Easier to deal with cash.
In my opinion:
Everybody loved it, you will too!

During my experience abroad, I ...
Became familiar with another culture
KEY:
Happened all the time.
Happened quite a lot.
Happened a bit.
Didn't happen.
Traveled
Improved language skills
Met people from other countries
Became more independent
Partied a lot
Experienced a change in life
Advanced my studies/career
Personal recommendation:
I loved it, but you should definitely know that most of the things, problems in the university you have to solve by yourself. Sometimes, there were changes in the schedule of the courses, and no notification about it. But professors are really friendly, and helpful.
