HOUSING
Personal assessment
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - I had no other choice
If returning, I would choose: with other Erasmus people
Why? Definitely easier to live in the same apartment with students that are in the same situation. Lifestyyle is quite different from the "usual" students´ one.
Personal comments:
Start searching as soon as possible... The best rooms/apartments are gone by october. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

STUDENT LIFE
Personal social experience
Describe host city: Students interact with the local community without much university involvement
Travel: Takes place mostly outside the university/student environment Activities, Nightlife: Takes place both within and outside of the university/student environment Personal comments:
Best cafe definitely "Moyo" in the city center, with free wireless internet! For aperitivo Sottosopra. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Language difficulties
Language of instruction: Italian
Was learning Italian a key decision factor?
Yes, I wanted to improve my Italian How much did you improve your Italian?
My level before: Basic phrases My level after: At ease in most situations Personal comments:
Just one suggestion: Speak, speak, speak! Even if in the beginning you feel like a 3 year-old,by doing it :), thats the only way to really learn it. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

EXPENSES
The accessibility of student needs
Main source of funding:
Family Other sources of funding:
An ERASMUS grant Work opportunities:
I didn't explore any work options Personal spending habits:
Talking with cell phone was ridicuosly expensive. I think I have never sent so many text messages than during these 10 months. Nightlife, Overall, Telephone, Housing: was more expensive than at home. Food, Travel: was the same price as at home.

OVERALL
Important to choosing this university...
I wish I had known...
That its almost impossible to pay with a card in smaller shops. Easier to deal with cash. In my opinion:
Everybody loved it, you will too!
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
I loved it, but you should definitely know that most of the things, problems in the university you have to solve by yourself. Sometimes, there were changes in the schedule of the courses, and no notification about it. But professors are really friendly, and helpful. FINAL COMMENTS
It was really a great experience! If you decide to go, don´t interact only with other Erasmus people, but try to get to know the local students as well. That way instead of improving your english you will learn italian ;) And you have the chance to get to know the Real Italy! This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
