HOUSING
Personal assessment
Cost
KEY:
Couldn't have asked for more.
Pretty good.
Could've been better, but didn't lessen the overall experience.
Disappointing.
Facilities
Location
Cleanliness
Space
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - I had no other choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? I love to have my privacy and some space of my own...
Personal comments:
The university didn't give us any information about accomodation, only that it was impossible to rent something through the university...I had to look for something through a house rental agency... I won't give any comment about the prices they ask...

STUDENT LIFE
Personal social experience
Activities
KEY:
Amazing! Hardly had time to study.
Plenty to do when I had the time.
So-so.
Did not get involved.
Nightlife
Travel
Overall
Describe host city: Students interact with the local community without much university involvement
Activities, Nightlife, Travel: Takes place mostly outside the university/student environment
Personal comments:
XO-bar at Via Verdi: nice and cheap discobar but closed during the summer SpaceElectronic (discoteca) near the station (SMN): students and tourists, great music! Andromeda (discoteca) near Piazza della Signoria: acceptable if you like la musica latino-americana...

KEY:
Fantastic.
Pretty good.
Could've been a bit better.
Disappointing.
Variety of courses
Availability/access to resources
Interaction with teachers
Interaction with other international students
Interaction with local students
Course recommendations:
Well, to be honest, I didn't take any courses, I did an internship in the Careggi hospital, maybe that's why I didn't have much contact with other students...

My opinion of the university assessment
Exams at end of course
KEY:
Liked it.
It was alright.
A bit annoying.
Didn't like it.
Exams throughout the course
Essays and/or projects at the end of course.
Essays and/or projects throughout the course
Overall
Personal comments:
An organisation to welcome and entertain International/Erasmus-students would be very usefull...Any organisation for students...they didn't seem to know what that means...

Personal comments:
First it was quite difficult to understand and speak italian...but since no one spoke something else (french, english,...) I had no other choice but to learn italian as good as possible...
