Housing
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why?
I loved being in the dorm environment. It put right in the middle of Italian students and gave me an excellent opportunity to meet new people and polish my language skills.

Personal comments
I stayed in a dorm apartment. I had a single room in an dorm/apartment that housed 11 other girls with me (there were both single and double rooms in this housing arrangement.) We had four bathrooms, one kitchen, and common area. The kitchen had four refriderators, two stoves, and each of us had our own cabinet to store food. The kitchen was also stocked with dishes, pots and pans, and utensils. All rooms were furnished and provided sheets and blankets. It was perfect for someone like me who would only be staying temporarily.

Great place to study
esmeralda s
Italy, Undergraduate
Political Science, 2020
Overall
Political science is a great field if you matter about people's rights.
Most of the teachers are very passionate about their own field.
Exams can be difficult but some classes might use 2 small exams instead of a big one. It all depends on the teacher.
Italian universities are mostly theoretical but a good choice.

Overall
Being one of the most famous in the country, the university itself is pretty organized and the quality of the teachings is generally remarkable. Most of the issues come from the independence that professors have regarding the organizational aspects (exam dates, classes timetables, ...)

Industrial Relations and Personnel Management, 2019
Overall
Teachers are very professional and stimulate students' curiosity.
The campus provides many excellent services, though career service doesn't work very well.
Most of the courses are really interesting, but some of them need to be modified and updated.

Try not to live with students from your own nationality and check out your accomodation thoroughly, or else end up sharing bedrooms with a stranger.

The neighbourhood known as "seconda Arcella" is not far from the center and is also very quiet. Buying a bike (and a good padlock) is a must.
