HOUSING
by perculio, Universidad de Sevilla, Sevilla, Spain
Telecommunications, Erasmus
Personal assessment
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - I had no other choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? I think that it is the best choice in L'Aquila and living with italian people it was really interesting to learn the local language and culture
Personal comments:
There is not somebody to look for a house for you before your arrival but they can help you if you do not speak italian or you need a phone to call This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

My opinion of the university assessment
Personal comments:
Regarding telecommunications field, I suggest to chose courses given by teachers working for Telecom Italia. They are nice and great. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Language difficulties
Language of instruction: Italian
Was learning Italian a key decision factor?
No, it wasn't. How much did you improve your Italian?
My level before: Basic phrases My level after: At ease in most situations Personal comments:
For spanish people is easy enough to learn italian. In Italy almost nobody speaks english so if you go to Italy don't think about not learning italian. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

The accessibility of student needs
Main source of funding:
Family Other sources of funding:
Personal savings An ERASMUS grant Work opportunities:
I didn't explore any work options Personal spending habits:
Italian cost of life is the same as in Spain(Seville) unless you are going to a very big or touristic city. L'Aquila's cost of life is pretty good for students Food, Travel, Overall: was the same price as at home. Nightlife, Telephone, Housing: was less expensive than at home.

OVERALL

Important to choosing this university...
I wish I had known...
It is better experience everything by yourself. In my opinion:
Most people loved it.
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
I think that is a good place to go if you like quite life of small cities (70000 inhabitants). Anyway the university is big enough (15000 students) and so you will have fun everyday if you want. FINAL COMMENTS
If you can bring your car with you I recommend you doing it. I did it and it was great to travel and to move yourself in town. I had the chance to travel and know Erasmus life in other more famous and bigger cities (Rome, Florence, Naples, Venice, Bari...) and I would not chance at all for L'Aquila. In other big places it is really expensive and it is not so familiar with foreign students from other countries and local people. In big cities I have seen that people generally only interact with people from their own nationality. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
