If returning, I would choose: With a family
Why? I lived in France in High school with a family and enjoyed it very much. I prefere to live the culture when I am in a foreign country.

Watch out for the European Sociology and government class, only about 15% of the students in my class passed it, all of whome were from Europe.

I was much more active, always doing something. At home it was study, study, study. Travel, Nightlife, Overall, Telephone: was more expensive than at home. Food, Housing: was the same price as at home.
