When I was in China, I lived with my parents, so I didn't spend on food, telephone, housing etc. Now, I've to pay for all of these. Food, Overall, Telephone, Housing: was more expensive than at home. Travel: was the same price as at home. Nightlife: was less expensive than at home.
Personal comments:
I've worked in a restaurant like a waitress during the summer holidays in full-time.Working during the vacances can make some money, also to speak to different kind of people, to know the society. Profit some free days to the museum. I've been to Musée Louvre 4 times, during the free open days. So and the other museums and historical monuments. Cinema, public transport, tobacco and alcohol from shops was cheaper, however, chocolate, mobile phone bills and drinking in bars was more expensive. Nightlife, Telephone: was more expensive than at home. Food, Overall: was the same price as at home. Travel, Housing: was less expensive than at home.
Personal comments:
Any student must register with the CAF. This will allow you to claim money from the state to assist with lodging costs. It is a slightly lengthy process but well worth it as noramally you be able to clain 40% of your rent back. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Life is more expensive in France especially going out - accommodation however is cheaper Food, Nightlife, Overall, Telephone: was more expensive than at home. Travel: was the same price as at home. Housing: was less expensive than at home.
Personal comments:
Paying to open bank account. Choose Caisse d'Epargne - they don't charge. Drink wine (v.cheap) before you go out as drinks are VERY expensive in bars. Don't eat or drink in bars/cafes in Commerce - these are more expensive than the Quartier Bouffay. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
