HOUSING
Personal assessment
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? Better location, close to town. On campus living is not as "Dutch" - it lacks the charm of the small apartments and houses
Personal comments:
For international students, on campus housing isnt the best value for money. Houses and apartments off campus are far more liveable and enjoyable This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

OVERALL
Important to choosing this university...
I wish I had known...
Studying three units would be too intensive and that two units in the social sciences department is more than enough In my opinion:
Everybody loved it, you will too!
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
I have studied at an American university as well as an Australian university. The academic experience at Utrecht was not to be compared. Interactive classes, challenging articles and course work and fun teaching and lecturing tecniques FINAL COMMENTS
Utrecht is fun and bustling. The town has a fantastic vibrancy and youthfulness that is contagiuos - this is juxtoposed with a very historic and quaint city. Both aspects seem to compliment each other perfectly for some odd reason. As for travel tips unfortunately i am one of the few Australians to come to a European city and not travel around to other countries, to tell you the truth i was completey content staying in Utrecht itself and expereincing teh Dutch culture and great atmosphere - There was always some event/action to keep you involved with the city.
