Final comments
an advice: try to have an accomodation on campus, because a flat in the city center of Dublin is very expensive and very difficult to find!

If you have a Laptop I would bring it because there is wireless interet access throughout the campus and the computer lab is terrible. You have to wait up to 30 mins to get a computer and try at least 4 untill you get one that works. Plus they are using really old software.

There is no doubt that I have improved my ability in regards to the English language.Mostly I made a lot of progress in writing essays in a completely different style like the one the English-speaking countries have.To learn to built an argument and to have a solid and organised thinking.Generaly it was a great experience for me.

Overall
I have attended evening classes in Communications skills, deug diploma.
It allowed me to apply to license, 3rd year degree in France. Teachers are experienced, qualified and gave me the bases for my savoir faire and savoir être at work. Absolutely useful and recommend it to any student. Irish people are welcoming, students are helpful, collaborative atmosphere, i would like to go back to it once more! Today i am responsible of global business in ecommerce and can tell you these 2 years are certainly the big brick of my competences.

UCD - A Cherishable College Experience
George K
Ireland, Undergraduate

Overall
I am so happy I decided to study at UCD because it is one of Ireland's top Universities and is located right on my doorstep! I love traveling to and from college every day as gives me a chance to see my friends and does so in a well-catered, relaxed, but reputable environment. The modern architecture of the college appeals to me greatly, and UCD in itself is essentially a mini-city. I could not recommend studying at UCD enough to exchange students. It truly is a pleasure!

Personal spending habits
Everything was more expensive but that was to be expected. Wages were much higher than at home so I was earing about twice what I usually would, which offset the costs.

Personal comments
If travelling within Ireland the buses are much cheaper than trains but with a group of 4 a hire car is the cheapest and easiest way.
