Academic
Course recommendations
The system is very different to what we are used to in the U.S. Best recommendation is to just go along with the flow and make the best of it.

The system is a bit difficult for U.S. students to work with but I wouldn't recommend changing it, just being prepared for it.

Basically there were no big problems! But did you ever meet somebody from Northern Ireland! Language is no big problem in Ireland because people are very friendly and try to help you whenever they can! After a while you will be able to cope with the differnt accents!

Main low-cost airlines fly to dublin. It is important to know, transport and restaurants are more expensive than average south-european standards. Weather is not so bad in dublin.

Bed and Breakfast and hostels are quite expensive and not very personal, they can also be of bad quality, depending on the area. I would recomend a homestay or a house share as you're not only meeting people, but you can also improve your language ability.
