Seperate your debit cards and don't carry all your cards in your wallet. Should something happen, you won't have anything as a backup source and you will be out of the loop until your parents send you new cards. Trust me, I learned my lesson the hard way!

I never missed a single chance to go out or to travel. Plus I had a part-time job (this is not easy to find back home)so I could actually spend a little bit more...I had more spare time, less to study as an Erasmus as well!!! Life is a little bit more expensive ...glaring exception, obviously, bier!!!

Everything was more expensive but that was to be expected. Wages were much higher than at home so I was earing about twice what I usually would, which offset the costs.

If travelling within Ireland the buses are much cheaper than trains but with a group of 4 a hire car is the cheapest and easiest way.

Dublin costs more, it is the general cost if life, it is less expensive for a Noirvegian or for an English. I am from Italy.

You pay weekly for the room, so if it is possible the last weeks you can stay at some friends house to share the rent.
