I wish I had known...
UCD is located 3 kilos south of the city center and may not be the ideal location for students who wish to be near the city centre or temple bar area.

Seperate your debit cards and don't carry all your cards in your wallet. Should something happen, you won't have anything as a backup source and you will be out of the loop until your parents send you new cards. Trust me, I learned my lesson the hard way!
