HOUSING

Personal assessment
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why? Because you are in kontakt with other students, you really grow to a family, parties, meetings, get to know each other, meet for going out in the evening - simply fun and friends
Personal comments:
Depends in which part of Jarov dormitory you live, A and B are twin rooms, with own bath and kitchen, C share 6 people these facilities, F and G share 4 these facitlies but in twinrooms too (C F and G) C ist very modern, but overall you can make yourself comfortable there and its ok in every part This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Personal social experience
Describe host city: Students equally interact with the local and student community
Activities, Nightlife, Travel: Takes place both within and outside of the university/student environment Personal comments:
Joe's Bar..the place to be. That was Hemingway's favourite bar, too. Then it depends on favourite music. Lots of Jazz Clubs, Rock Cafes...Enough to choose from. Cafe Cafe..a bit pricy but nice atmospere and good Cappuccino. Coffee is not enjoyable in Prague..anywhere you go.. Prague is a very beautiful city..a must-go. My academic experiences
Course recommendations:
Even if the courses were not so interesting, it was a good experience to see how universities and courses work abroad.
My opinion of the university assessment
Personal comments:
The only thing I would suggest would be to share more courses with Czech students, because courses in english are mainly attended by international students. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

EXPENSES

The accessibility of student needs
Main source of funding:
A private grant Other sources of funding:
None Work opportunities:
I didn't explore any work options Personal spending habits:
The Czech Crown has an exchange rate of 25:1 to the US dollar. Everything was very cheap as it is. Telephone: was more expensive than at home. Food, Travel, Nightlife, Overall, Housing: was less expensive than at home.
Personal comments:
Dont eat around the city center, everything is way to expensive because of tourist reasons. Find your way out to Praha 3 and beyond where you will find authentic food that is cheap but quality. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Important to choosing this university...
I wish I had known...
Nothing In my opinion:
Everybody loved it, you will too!
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
On the CESP there were not much work to do. If you are interested mainly for academic skills go somewhere else. If you are interested generally to have a great experience in your life go to Prague. FINAL COMMENTS
There are a lot of opportunities (and cheap) to travel within Czech Rep. or abroad. The best and most fun way is to get together with other students that you will meet. Do not ever take a taxi from the street because they will rip you off. Prefer to call certain companies or prearrange the price.
